Myself and Mark were the lucky nominees from the office chosen to attend DTwo‘s first Booze and Schmooze on 28 January last, a networking event that I am glad to say is the first in the line of many. The event was highlighted to us on Piaras Kellys blog as a casual environment where young professionals can make useful new contacts with others working in the industry.

Welcomed with a glass of champagne to help loosen tongues the whole evening felt very relaxed. We made some new contacts and rekindled some old ones.

I received a lovely email from Alan Duncan, DTwo’s Marketing and PR manager the next morning informing us all they hope to have Booze and Schmooze as a monthly event. For those of you who missed out on the January event I would recommend keeping an eye out for the announcement of the next one this month.
